Hey there. I was prowling through my music and came into my older folder with your song “It's about time” I just wanted to say I really enjoyed this song a lot and that album wasn't bad either.
Although since you asked what do we think would make the album more interesting it is important that your music is your own but there's nothing wrong with pleasing the audience as well. Lets face it, while your music may make you proud, it is inevitable that the end goal is for major success, is it not? On that note I offer my piece of advice..
Make more “catchy” tracks. Americans especially like to listen to something with a sound and lyric that stick in their heads and won't leave for hours/days. Make it less pop, since that era of music here was pretty much over with the less-than-enthusiastic comeback of the backstreet boys.
A good example in this situation would be Paramore. If you actually do listen closely to any of their songs it's just a much of sewn together words and phrases but the beat and composition of the words make their songs hits.
I follow music pretty closely, and while nowadays we're pretty much into the whole R&B/Rap flow of music it will eventually pass and the time for rock bands will rise once again. Never ending cycle. Just giving in my two cents, wish you best of luck with your music endeavors.
